100 Years of the Budapest Movie

The sudden disappearance of cinemas or film theatres and their sometimes brutal destruction and transformation, is the reason we are treating this form of 20th century architecture as a single subject, evoking it and showing it, complemented by memorabilia, relics from interiors, film posters and projection and other equipment. The part of the exhibition dealing with the history of architecture will be able to "travel". Apart from original plans, it contains photographs which are also valuable from the point of view of Hungarian photography between the wars.
