The Légli Ceramic Manufacture is twenty years old

It is to be said by the enthusiastic visitors of the Balaton, that we can have the most delightful experiences farter from the lake. This statement can be proved by the pottery work of Attila and Géza Légli. The workshop is situated at Szőlőskislak which is south from Balatonboglár and near to the lake, but it is approaching to the Dorottya Gallery, where the works of the twenty years old manufacture can be seen. Attila Légli, the founder of the pottery workshop does not call his works as works of art, he prefers to use the terms of plate, the garden plate, the black ceramic.

When we eat or drink from these dishes, or we just looking at them, these evoke the hilarity and the respect for tradition of the masters, and the conviviality of the guests. If a butter-dish or a fruit-plate could make a good mood, this is called as a work of art. We would like to recommend this exhibition to everyone, who likes the feeling of the hilly landscape in Somogy and the local colours of the south lake-shore region.
