Painting Exhibition of Pál Szabó

Curated by Éva Gelencsér Rothman The artist Pál Szabó, living in Kecskemét, posits his painting series and collages into space and builds his work around the motif of the cross. He uses the techniques of abstract expressionism and informel paintings to create a new and exciting interpretation of the "calvary" in his deeply religious art. The applied colors - the chrome-oxide green, the golden ocher and his black - within each other´s context manifest a visual representation of the mind.
