Exhibition of Áron Gábor

Curated by Péter Orosz Áron Gábor is one of the important artists of the generation starting their activity in the late seventies and early eighties. Graduating from the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts, together with Miklós Erdély he achieved the principles of artistic thinking without prejudice. His paintings with their dramatic workmanship and the colors of gold, red and pink resting on the antagonism between the grotesque and the dramatic are convincing examples of the period´s post-avant-garde art. He also made films, computer graphics, installations and sculptures in the multimedia spirit of the eighties and nineties. This exhibition is going to present the public with a cross-section of his rich artistic career including the most important periods within his two decades of work.
