Ellipse

Exhibition of Gábor Zrínyifalvi painter

Curated by Csaba Kozák Gábor Zrínyifalvi´s painting is created from weaving emotions and intuitions persistently using the same motives. Wood, burnt wood, stone, feather, the instruments and sings of thinging, drawing and drawn hand, geometrical forms (ellipse) give levels with imprints like in sedimentary rocks. These paintings have a polished surface through which patterns show up to the archeologist viewer. The creator´s will (the intention) and chance meet in the "find", the artwork, as the combinations of the same motives produce new meanings and interpretations again and again, and make the linearly and make linearly advancing time spread in space. The invisible frame which separates these paintings from the surrounding space represents the artist´s interpretations or rather his intuitions.
