The Scene

Curated by Judit Csoke and György Szego For this exhibition, theater designers and artists have the opportunity to create and elaborate their most important and intimate ideas concerning space in relation to stage design. Worldwide avant-garde art has become ever more important for stage designers, and this phenomenon often helps to dissolve or transform the borders between fine art, applied art and architecture. Where art has always been important for stage design, "scenery" has finally become important for art. The "scenes" created will not be "mute" - they will become alive through plays, actions and performances throughout the summer.
