The exhibition of the life work of sculptor Ádám Farkas suggested a special idea. The rich and varied world of forms, the musicality, rhythm, melody, colour and harmony of the sculptures called for musical parallels.
The large-scale stone, wood and metal sculptures create a unique musical world rarely heard, the blocky sounds of trombones: playful, at times funny, lyrical, sad, amusing.
Interesting, different sounds of 18th century Mozart, 20th century Gershwin, and the 21st century music world I represent.
László Dubrovay, composer
