Tár.hely: A database of contemporary art

IN­VI­TA­TI­ON FOR PAR­TI­CI­PA­TI­ON FOR HUN­GA­RI­AN VI­SU­AL AR­TISTS

Dear Ar­tist,

In 2014, Mű­csar­nok la­un­ched the Na­ti­o­nal Salon, a new se­ri­es of ex­hi­bit­ions that seek to offer pe­ri­o­dic, re­li­ab­le sur­veys of im­por­tant work done in the most va­ried fields of the vi­su­al arts. Its next ins­tal­ment is the Na­ti­o­nal Salon of Vi­su­al Art, to open in the spring of 2015, which seeks to be an ex­haus­tive exp­lo­ra­ti­on and rep­re­s­en­ta­ti­on of trends and achi­eve­ments in what are cons­idered the clas­si­cal gen­res in con­tem­por­ary art. The show pre­sents paint­ings, sculp­tu­res, dra­wings and gra­phic pi­e­ces, as well as works that com­bi­ne these fields. While the ex­hi­bits are se­lec­ted by a cura­tor, we want to make the over­view as broad as pos­sib­le, and open Mű­csar­nok’s di­g­ital Stor­age.space (Tár.​hely), where du­ring the disp­lay any ar­tist can show their works in these art forms.

Mű­csar­nok he­reby in­vi­tes ar­tists ac­tive in paint­ing, sculp­tu­re, dra­wing, gra­phic art and the over­lap­p­ing areas of these fields, to sub­mit their port­fo­li­os and par­ti­ci­pa­te at the Na­ti­o­nal Salon of Vi­su­al Art of 2015. Anyone aged 21 and over may apply. To apply, reg­is­ter and up­lo­ad your port­fo­lio to the da­ta­ba­se of Tár.​hely.
