Lithographs - Exhibition of Tibor Somorjai Kiss

Tibor Somorjai Kiss has an exhibition under the title of "Lithographs" with his glass still lifes in the Dorottya Gallery. The exhibition demonstrates the artistic development of this series, which was started three years ago. The central motif of the lithographies is the bottle. The isolated or grouped fine-formed, old bottles appear in front of the dark, but coloured background. The transparency bottles are not only transmit the light, but also emit the light on the lithographs. The complex vision of this work was born by the multi layer printing process. The possibility of this method, and the relations of the light and dark surfaces were studied by the artist. This ancient antagonism proves again, that the peaceful coexistence of the contrasts can result the harmony.
